The "Game Summary System" allows Managers/Coaches to submit Game Summaries directly to the website for immediate posting. This data will be utilized to keep the Season Stats up to date and will also act as a direct feed to the newspaper.
Login system currently disabled (The following is not required at this time). Each Manager/Coach will be issued a User Name and Password, please note each is case sensitive (No Caps, all Lower Case). The Logon info will allow access to the "Add Summary" option of the "Game Summary System". For Logon/Access problems, contact the Webmaster@HamburgSports.com
After selecting the "Add Summary" option from the "Game Summary System", simply fill in the requested data and hit the "Submit" button. All sections except the summary section must be completed. Your data will immediately be posted to the "Game Summary System". If your team is not available on the pulldown lists, please request a team add from the Webmaster@HamburgSports.com
An "Add (Mobile & Apple Devices)" option has been added for mobile and Apple users that can not use the populating pulldowns on the main "Add Summary section. If you still experience problems with the systems pull-down menus, please forward all info to: Games@HamburgSports.com. Be sure to include League, Division, Date, Teams, Score, and Summary.
The data can be viewed/accessed by everyone through the "Game Summary System". The current season is already selected, simply pick your Division and/or Team you would like to view, or just hit the "Search" button to view all data.
Other "Quick (Common) Searches" can be picked directly from the menu on the left or from the team/sport section.
Search (Fields): This option allows quick searchs for leagues/levels/teams via pull-down menus and allows the results to be sorted into several report types. The systems pull-down menus may be incompatible with Apple computers and other mobile devices.
Search (Full Text): Allows a full text search for items like player names or events. Change the pull-down menus to search a different season or to change the sort order.
Date/Avaliable Media: Date the event was occured, click the icon to check for any possible Media avaliable for this date.
Photos & Videos: Click the icon to check for any possible Photos & Videos on this date.
Both Winning and Losing Team Managers/Coaches should enter a specific summary for their team; Managers may designate a team adult to assist with the write-ups. At a minimum, scores need to be reported for the competitive leagues (Minors and up), in order to update the Online Season Standings.
Requirements - Use normal punctuation and normal capitalization (Don't use all Caps Lock or all Small Caps) in a single paragraph format. Be sure to mention every player and your sponsor throughout the season. The data needs to be as similar as possible for submission to the paper.
Recommendations - Use a word processor with a spell checker (i.e. MS Word) to draft your game summary, copy and paste the text from your word processor into the game summary block of the add form.
Negative comments directed towards the league, umpires, managers, coaches, and/or players will not be tolerated. Please use good taste and judgment.
To correct/update a summary, contact the League Statistician at Games@HamburgSports.com. Be sure to include the Game Summary Record Number and any necessary changes.
